28th September 2024<\/strong>; marked a significant milestone for 189 female students from Embakasi Girls Secondary School, as they celebrated their graduation from an intensive 8-month mentorship program. This is the fourth year running that the program has successfully empowered young women, equipping them with the skills and insights necessary to navigate future challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mentorship program, supported by women volunteers from Isuzu EA, focused on leadership, career development, character formation, and behaviour management. The volunteers, who serve as role models, shared their personal experiences and guided the girls in shaping their aspirations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s mentorship was inspired by Isuzu EA\u2019s annual corporate theme, “Forging Forward with Resilience.” The program aimed to instil a sense of resilience in the mentees, encouraging them to persevere through setbacks while striving for excellence to improve their academic performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the graduation, the team planted trees and donated dignity packs to benefit 100 needy girls who are supported by the school’s welfare program. This gesture helps mitigate menstrual poverty and ensures that all girls have equal opportunities for education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isuzu EA Foundation, continues to champion excellence under its Education pillar; \u202fby providing needy, bright, and talented students with full scholarships.  The foundation supplements these efforts with mentorship programs designed to holistically develop the next generation of leaders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this initiative, Isuzu EA Foundation is creating not only a future of academic success for these young women but also fostering qualities of leadership and strength, preparing them to face the world with confidence and resilience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
