25th April 2024<\/strong>: Isuzu EA Foundation led by Manager, Sustainability, Monitoring & Evaluation, Dr. Michael Musyoka, were among various corporates, institutions and individuals who presented cheque donations towards this year’s Mater Heart Fund initiative.\u202f\u202fA donation of Kshs 250,000 at Gold category was made towards this life changing cause. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program, founded in 1995, attracted key sponsors among them Isuzu EA Foundation, Naivas, Fidelity Insurance, KETEPA Maisha, Riley Falcony, Royal Media Services, Ulinzi Sports Complex among many others. The Hospital\u2019s CEO Sister Dr. Mary Ngui thanked all sponsors for their unrelenting support throughout the years. She called upon all well-wishers to support the program in a bid to attain this year\u2019s target of Kshs 120 million.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially held only in Nairobi, the Heart Run has grown over the years and is now held in\u202ften different towns namely, Nairobi, Mombasa, Machakos, Kakamega, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri, Kericho & Bomet. The program helps disadvantaged children with various heart conditions who need to undergo corrective surgery.  So far over 5,500 patients across the country have benefited from this initiative.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isuzu EA Sustainability, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Dr. Michael Musyoka expressed Isuzu EA Foundation\u2019s continued support to the program. He explained how vital it is to take care of children across all generations. Isuzu EA Foundation initially presented a cheque of Ksh 250,000.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Launch of the 2024 Mater Heart Run was officially unveiled by Sister Dr. Mary Ngui. Through Isuzu EA Foundation employee volunteer engagement program, 150 employees will be participating in the run scheduled for 25th May 2024 in support of the Mater Heart program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
